Keep a high-quality original
Begin with the largest suitable original you have and keep an untouched copy. A low-resolution source can look soft when enlarged. Review any enhancement at the intended output size, especially around faces, fine text and product details.
Choose the focal point
Decide what must stay visible when the image is cropped. Protect faces, logos and key product features. A tighter format may need a different image position or a simpler supporting layout.
Recompose instead of stretching
Keep the image proportions intact. Reposition or crop it to suit the frame, and adapt the headline and supporting elements to the new space. If more background is needed, consider whether a simpler background or a different source image serves the design better.
Review each placement independently
Compare every version at its final size. Check readability, alignment and the space around important elements. A variation should feel intentionally designed for its format, not squeezed into it.
