Collect approved logo versions
Keep a primary logo and any approved light, dark or compact variations. Label them clearly and retain the original source files. Check that each version is readable on the background where it will appear.
Define the color and type choices
Record your main colors with their exact values, along with the typefaces and weights used for headings and body text. Include an example of how they work together, so someone new to the project can understand the intended hierarchy.
Give the imagery a point of view
Choose a small set of references that reflect the right lighting, crop, subject and tone. Explain what matters in each reference. A short description such as “natural light, quiet backgrounds, generous space” is more useful than an unlabeled moodboard.
Add a short voice guide
Write a few phrases that sound like your brand and a few that do not. Specify how you refer to products and how you phrase calls to action. Pair these notes with visual examples when briefing collaborators.
